Max The Crystal Skull

Tonight I had the wonderful opportunity to see Max and his caretaker Joann Parks in McKinney, TX. I was excited to learn about her and Max and how they both met. I got there early so I could get a seat in the front row. The feeling in the room was light and everyone seemed just as excited as I was.

As things were getting setup I saw Joann bring in a small weathered case in the room. I wondered if that was where Max was kept. Sure enough she pulled him out and set him on a small table. On the table was a light box and draped over that was a cloth with a hole in the center so that the light can shine through. And that is where Max was placed. It looked really cool.

Max weighs 18 pounds and he is made up of five different pieces of quartz crystal. It is estimated that he is 5,000 to 36,000 years old. When Joann talks about him I can sense her passion and honesty about obtaining and being the caretaker of the skull. She is funny and upbeat when she gives her presentation. She shares a lot of good stories.

At the end of the presentation there was a brief meditation and then one by one we got a chance to go to Max. When I got up there I took a picture with my iPhone. I put my hands on the crystal skull and felt a tingling sensation. I thought it was an awesome thing to see and to be able to touch! I have never seen anything like that before and I am happy that I was able to attend.

Before I left I thanked Joann for bringing Max to us and gave her a hug. She is a wonderful lady and hope to see her again :) And I like to thank Michelle Barr for putting her name on the waiting list over a year ago so that we all could see Max today!
